Weekend Rock Question: What Is the Best Billy Joel Deep Cut?

Billy Joel has been touring pretty heavily ever since he returned to the road in 2013, and since he hasn’t released a new pop album in 22 years he’s taken the opportunity to break out some super deep cuts like “Running on Ice,” “Sleeping With the Television On” and “No Man’s Land.” And now that Joel is booked at Madison Square Garden every month until the end of time, he’ll have plenty of chances to dig even deeper into his vast catalog.

Now we have a question for you: What is Billy Joel’s best deep cut? Anything that’s not a hit or a widely-loved classic counts. Feel free to vote for an early tune like “Falling of the Rain” and “Stop in Nevada,” a late 1970s album track like “Get It Right the First Time” or “Rosalinda’s Eyes” or a 1980s tune like “Leave a Tender Moment Alone” or “State of Grace.” We’ll even count selections from his classical album Fantasies and Delusions, but it’s hard to imagine getting a lot of votes for “Villa d’Este” or “Opus 6. Invention in C Minor.” Pick any Billy Joel deep cut you want, but please just vote once and only for a single selection.
