Morrissey, Ween, Nas, Deftones Added to Eclectic Riot Fest Lineups


Morrissey, Ween, Death Cab for Cutie, the Deftones and Nas are set to play Riot Fests in Chicago and/or Denver, topping stacked lineups that will notably feature the recently reunited Misfits.

The Denver Riot Fest and Rodeo is set to take place September 2nd through 4th. The lineup will feature the aforementioned artists (except Morrissey) along with Jane’s Addiction (performing Ritual De Lo Habitual), Sleater-Kinney, Fitz and the Tantrums, the Descendents, NOFX, Underoath, Bad Religion, Thursday, Tyler, the Creator, Pepper, Jake Bugg, Motion City Soundtrack, Wolf Parade, the Hold Steady, Yo La Tengo, Sleigh Bells, Vince Staples, Suicidal Tendencies, Flatbush Zombies, the Dandy Warhols, Hatebreed, Lagwagon, the Aquabats, Glassjaw, the Wonder Years, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Danny Brown, Against Me!, Meat Puppets, Dan Deacon, Murder By Death, Rogue Wave, Converge, Billy Talent, Fucked Up, Set Your Goals, Juliette Lewis and the Licks, Touché Amoré, White Lung and Diarrhea Planet.

Chicago Riot Fest will be held September 16th through 18th and feature performances from Morrissey, Ween, Death Cab, Social Distortion (performing, White Light, White Heat, White Trash on its 20th anniversary), Rob Zombie (performing White Zombie’s Astro-Creep: 2000), Brand New, Nas, Deftones, the Specials, Fitz and the Tantrums, Descendents, Refused, NOFX, Bad Religion, All Time Low, Underoath, Motion City Soundtrack, Thursday, Jake Bugg, The Hives, Death Grips, Bob Mould, the Hold Steady, Glassjaw, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Pepper, Meat Puppets, GZA, the Wonder Years, Method Man and Redman, Dan Deacon, Dee Snider, Andrew W.K., Joey Bada$$, GWAR, the Anniversary, Fucked Up, the Dillinger Escape Plan, Set Your Goals, Juliette Lewis and the Licks, Diarrhea Planet, Touché Amoré, White Lung, Laura Stevenson, Nots, Big Ups, All Dogs and Eskimeuax.

Both the Denver and Chicago dates have lineup overlaps, and full breakdowns of each weekend can be found on the Riot Fest website. More artists will be added in the coming weeks. General admission and VIP tickets are on sale for both Chicago and Denver.
