Migos’ ‘Versace’ Played At Versace’s Milan Show

Talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy. Migos and Drake rapped all about Versace on their song “Versace” and the Italian brand sure heard them because “Versace” was played during the finale of the luxury line’s recent Milan runway show.
StyleArabia has video of the awesome collision of hip-hop and fashion.
Earlier this summer, Migos explained how Drake jumped on the track and turned it into a scorcher. “He came up to us and he started naming songs off the mixtape. That was crazy, if Drake came up to you naming songs of your mixtape, how you gon’ feel?” TakeOff of Migos told MTV News. The duo met Drizzy backstage at Atlanta’s Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash on June 15.
Drake later explained to MTV News how he ended up on the “Versace (remix).” “I went on a trip and I was sitting with DJ Drama and a bunch of people in the studio, debating on a bunch of records,” he said after this year’s OVO Fest in Toronto.
Drake also explained that he wanted to be featured on Rich Homie Quan’s “Type Of Way” but he only had time to do one remix.
“I like organic things. Things that come together,” explained Drake.
