Hear Pusha T, Rivers Cuomo on Soft Rock Zeds Dead Jam ‘Too Young’
Pusha T and Weezer's Rivers Cuomo lend vocals to "Too Young," a bubbly new track from Canadian electronic duo, Zeds Dead.
"Too Young" has a smooth, Seventies vibe. The song is anchored by percussion, keys and an array of synths while Cuomo sings the hook. Pusha T raps, encouraging a girl to forgo appearances and embrace the present in his opening verse ("Taking selfies in the mirror/ Get the angle, make it clearer/ That ain't perfect girl/ Ain't no perfect world") before going full-blown motivational speaker in the second verse.
"Too Young" is set to appear on Zeds Dead's upcoming debut album, Northern Lights, which arrives October 14th. Along with Pusha T and Cuomo, the album will feature collaborations with Diplo and Swedish singer Elliphant (the previously released "Blame"), Freddie Gibbs ("Back Home"), Twin Shadow, Jadakiss, Styles P, Dragonette and more.
Zeds Dead is currently on tour in support of the album. The duo will tour North America through early November, head to Europe, then return for a handful of U.S. shows in December.
