Chris Brown Doesn’t Understand Why Jay Z ‘Gets A Pass’

Chris Brown is not holding his tongue in his new Jet magazine cover story. The controversial singer has plenty to say about Rihanna, his reputation and his thoughts on Jay Z.
The YBF shares snippets from the interview in which Breezy takes a lil shot at Jigga’s past saying, “No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that [Jay Z] stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass.”
Rumors have spread for years that Jay Z Chris have had a falling out over Breezy’s tumultuous relationship with Rihanna (who Jay helped discover and later signed to his RocNation family). Many even speculated that Jay threatened to end Chris’ career if he hurt Rihanna as in 2009, when he assaulted her.
In 2011, TMZ shared video of Jay Z not supporting Chris’s performance during the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, which only fueled rumors. Chris later said that he had a cordial relationship with the rap impresario and the rumors were blown out of proportion.
In Jet, Chris also tackles his own anger issues, saying, “You have to go through the struggle before you can get to the good part. I don’t try to lash out at people, or be as mad or impulsive as I used to be. I got to the point where it’s only so much you can take from the master, you feel me? I’ve taken my fair share of lashings.”
The singer also opened up about the challenges of being in love with two women, namely Rihanna and Karrueche Tran at the same time. “Relationships are the most difficult part,” he reveals. “That’s why I was honest with those two girls and I put out that video. My ex and I broke up because of the ‘situation’ and she had moved on. I fell in love with another girl. Then my ex came back, so it was like, ‘What is a man to do?’ I told them both the truth. I didn’t do the sucker role.”
